BND Symbiotes!

Last week, IGN reported on a new villian to his the Spidey this August. The arc "New Ways to Die" seems to be the most hyped story since BND began. It will see the birth of the Anti-Venom. I’ve heard rants and raves about this, but I don’t know where to position myself just yet. I’ve always liked Venom, but I kinda lost interest when the symbiote took over Mac Gargan.

However, in New Ways to Die, they’ve put forward a few questions that got me interested. Apparently, the story takes off after Eddie Brock’s ordeal in Sensational Spider-Man, but we don’t exactly know what his condition is, post OMD- what exactly did the deal with Mephisto do with Eddie? Is Eddie Brock the Anti-Venom or will he be back to his old ways of murder, torture and really bad KISS impersonations? And how does Mac Gargan figure in all of this?
