Awesome Toy Reviewer- Slangards
January 16, 2009Being a member of PTK and having a lot of idle time means that I get to read deal of news, opinions and reviews about toys of all sorts. I was never a big toy collector although the products have always fascinated me, so seeing these guys show off their hauls and collections puts my geekery to shame. I feel as if my geekery should be taken out back, and euthanized by snickering overweight children. But I digress. In my browsing, I found that I am drawn to a particular toy reviewer’s work. Little did I know he and I were already making cyber hot monkey love over this thing called Plurk.
So, I asked him if I could post a couple of his reviews here, and he said it was okay. Now, I don’t know much about him so I can’t give you a bio or where he gets the money to buy his toys, but you can read him over at The Stars Abide. Here are a couple of my favorites: (more…)
Comic Book Video Game Wishlist! (Part 1)
January 10, 2009I don’t have a copy of Web of Shadows yet. I don’t have a 360 and the PC port is still shitfaced, so until they release the second patch, I probably won’t pick it up. So while I wait for someone to give me a fucking patch, to make the game tolerable enough to play, I got to thinking about the past games and how much cooler they would be if the developers got it right according to fans’ expectations. Or, well, close to them.
