Coolest Comics PS3 Themes

I recently tried out ganking new PS3 themes for free online, and I’m suprised at how horrible some of them can get. There are ones with good background images but with annoying sounds and fucking ugly icons, and there are others that just fail the background images altogether, which make for fail themes. You’re in luck, though. Because I’m a good friend to all of you, I went through the ones I found and weeded out the ones that suck ass to be able to present to you the coolest comic book PS3 themes around the net.

 

These won’t be in any order so the one that comes last isn’t necessarily the best one.

Daredevil

 

I like it primarily because it is Daredevil. The image is a bit low-res and my display at 1680×1050 made it pixelize a little bit. The simple red and black palette give the theme a very broody mood, which is exactly what Daredevil exemplifies. I especially like the icons because they haven’t been changed much, just swapped with red ones. I like things very minimal, you see.

I’m not using this theme right now, though, because when I powered up my PS3 this morning, Ben Affleck’s face was looking right back at me. DELETED!

Marvel Heroes

 

I like it because it has about 16 backgrounds, which changes at an interval that I do not understand. Maybe it’s one every day or so, but I am not sure. The only reason I’m not using this theme right now is because I find those icons quite distracting. I’m a big fan of the default icons. Yeah, maybe a little tweaking would do it well because it’s overkill. Nonetheless, this is a really cool theme to have if you don’t mind the icons.

Marvel Villains

 

This is easily my favorite Marvel theme. There are 6 backgrounds that switch up; granted, some of the backgrounds are better than the others, but at least they do not look like some 16 year old who just discovered Photoshop made them. The icons are fan-frickin’-tastic. They’re not gaudy but they still manage to look strikingly evil. EVIL!!!

Green Lantern Corps

 

Despite my being Lasallian, I never really liked green. The only green shirt I own is a Luigi shirt, but that’s because I fucking love Luigi. This is the theme I am currently using, though. I like it because it is very simple yet it is… Green Lanterny, if that makes sense to you at all.

Besides, Guy Gardner is right there. Guy Gardner is the man we should all aspire to be.
