I didn’t post the Thor costume, because I’m sure you guys’ve seen it elsewhere. Everyone has their own opinions on it, naturally and I think it looks a bit too futuristic. It could quite possibly end up sucking massive amounts of donkey ass. If they had stuck with the Ages of Thunder look, it would’ve been cool but of course, I can only speculate until the movie actually comes out. Until then, I’ll rage.
Here’s something interesting, though - Anthony Hopkins as Odin, the All-Father.
I dunno, man. He’s got the beard down, but isn’t he a little… I dunno… fat? And not Odin-like? The eye patch is cool, but even that looks a bit futuristic. Or it just kinda looks like a metallic leaf fell into his eye.
Iron Spider Pre-order
If you pre-order Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions from Amazon.com, you will be given a ton of cool shit. You’ll get a book with exclusive concept art, character renders, environment designs, and a bunch of other stuff, I bet. I’m sure you won’t pre-order for the book, though. You’ll get it for the special code to download the Iron Spider-Man costume.
You get to use the Iron Spider costume in place of the Spider-Man 2099’s original suit. It is not known whether this suit gives you additional powers or whatnot but I highly doubt that.
The chances for this baby to be available for download a few months (or fucking weeks, or days even) after the release of the game is likely because people like money. And it will cost money to download this thing. Same thing happened with the Juggernaut DLC for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, remember?
This is likely to be exclusive for people who live in the United States. Again, our third world gets shafted.
Captain America and Thor Movie Logos
They have been revealed! The Cap logo image is small but from what we can see, the logo is pretty cool. Too bad I can’t say the same for the costume.
If it looks familiar to you, there’s no reason for that. It is nothing like the logo being used in the comics now. So, why then, does it look incredibly familiar to me? If you can remind me, please do so.
The Thor logo, taken from this website, looks a lot like the current logo being used in the Comics now.
The only difference would be the spacing between the letters and the size of the T. Okay, so it’s pretty fucking far from the comic book logo. It still looks cool.
Green Lantern Logo and Promotional Art
Thus continues the changing of the logos. I like the comic book Green Lantern logo. I like it a hell of a lot better than the Batman or Justice League logos. But this one is great. Maybe they can start using this instead?
The promo art is pretty cool. I like it when they take iconic panels or covers and use em’ to please the fanboys.
