Blue Beetle Live Action
June 17, 2010If you haven’t heard by now, Blue Beetle getting his own live action show. Unfortunately, we won’t be getting one with Ted Kord, the GREATEST Blue Beetle ever. It’s the Jaime Reyes one, which isn’t that bad and is starting to grow on me.
With that gay-ass Dawson Creekified Clark Kent show ending (THANK GOD), Blue Beetle could be filling the gap. I have my worries, especially if they want to capture the same demographic - women and prepubescent teens. The Blue Bettle in Batman: The Brave and the Bold could work, if aimed at kids. That wouldn’t be so bad. But a pussified Blue Bettle, which is already a pussified version of Ted Kord’s Blue Beetle, is going to suck ass crumbs.

Honestly, it looks very promising. The suit has always been bad ass and I’m happy it is comic-accurate. Let’s hope it doesn’t get pussified.
