Iron Man Extremis iTunes Codes Giveaway

I’m sure you guys have heard of the Iron Man Extremis motion comic being sold through iTunes, Zune and the PSN, if I recall correctly. If not, here’s a video to remind you.

Yes, that one.

Marvel was kind enough to include coupons with codes good for one episode download on iTunes in selected comics. I got mine from Invincible Iron Man #26 and Thor #610. The downer to that is that the codes are available for the US only. I couldn’t use them since, well, I don’t have iTunes and I’m not a big fan of Apple products because they’re expensive and I’m poor.

The long and short of it is I am giving away my codes away. What do you need to do to get my codes? Nothing, just leave a comment or email me. That is all.

Villains of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is looking to be one of the more promising Spider-Man games. Yes, I said the same thing about Web of Shadows, but I really did enjoy Web of Shadows, almost as much as I did Spider-Man 2. Going after symbiotes in a symbiote-war torn New York was pretty cool.

Shattered dimensions doesn’t seem to have the same sandbox, free-swining mechanic, though. It looks be based more off action than it is motion, which really doesn’t make sense for a Spider-Man title, but seeing as how Spidey’s athletics plays a big part of the action, it could just work.

Ms. Marvel Review

Because of Ms. Marvel’s prominence within the Avengers roster, I felt that my Marvel Universe collection needed someone of that star power within. I read New Avengers Finale, and I thought to myself that it would be cool to get Ms. Marvel and pose her right next to Captain America and Iron Man. All I need now is a Thor, bitchez!

 

I must apologize for the ambient noise in the vidoe. You can hear that rooster crowing very distincly. I wanna choke that cock. Also, I mispronounced “dossier.” I said “dow-see-yay” instead of “daw-see-yay.” That’s my bad.

The figure itself is okay to look at, but as far as the standards of 3.75″ figures go, it’s a little below the bar.

 

Sculpt

Nothing fantastic. It’s a standard female body with hair molded in. The detail on her hair is okay, but it’s hair, so it’s not like you need much accuracy.

Paint

Cheap-looking paint with a shoddy paintjob.

Articulation

Some joints are loose but the number of articulation is fine, especially for such a small figure. I should mention that the head does indeed turn. I forgot to show it on the video, but the head turns despite the large mold of hair.

Accessories

She’s got the shield “dossier” and two energy bolts - they’re pretty cool but they look weird on the figure. They’re hard to remove, as seen in the video.

 

Fun Factor

These figures need flight stands. They’ll be fun then.

Displayability

Ms. Marvel scores high here. She look cool displayed because she has no trouble standing up. I just didn’t use those energy things.

 

All in all, not a great figure but she’s alright to buy if you want to complete the roster.
